O' ELYSIAN FURNITURE 

O' Elysian Furniture is a specially designed furniture for Children age of  3-12 year old.  This is one of the degree project that have been carried for the Buku Jalanan Chow Kit Association. The concept of this furniture is Connective Imagination whereby tis furniture can connect to children. An endless design that gives a imagination for children.

This is a multipurpose furniture designed with many functions. For example, table, chair, stool, shelf, closed cabinet, Play space for small kids, Reading area, Bookshelf and bed. This furniture creates fun for kids and makes them utilise it with their interest instilled in it. 

Cushion and smooth edges  are proposed with it to avoid injuries of children.  It is a modular furniture where it can be detached to three module which makes it easier to be carried. the closed shelves can be taken out to be use as stools also.

 

The material use is Pine wood with high density foam with PVC faux leather for the cushion.  Pine wood is use as it is a long lasting wood when it is used by kids and its a light weight and durable wood. High Density foam stitched with Faux PVC leather is proposed as it is a good protection and shock absorbent for kids and it avoid injuries to children too. Anti slip material is also use to avoid the PVC to slip off from the wood. It will keep the wood and PVC material intact.

This proposed design is a virtual design carried out for 2nd year Degree Project of Buku Jalanan Chow Kit Society.
